A game, a fictional currency

Towndom is a simulation game: the in-game currency (€, écus) is entirely fictional. It has no real monetary value, cannot be bought with real money beyond the packs offered in the app, and cannot be exchanged, withdrawn, or converted into real money in any form. Nothing in Towndom constitutes real-money gambling, a bet, or a regulated financial product.

Account and nickname

No traditional sign-up is required: a nickname and a technical install identifier are enough. You are responsible for the nickname you choose; abusive, misleading (impersonating someone) or promotional nicknames may be renamed or blocked.

In-app purchases

Écus (a comfort currency), the no-ads pass and the premium Road Book track are optional purchases, processed by Apple via StoreKit, at prices shown in euros before confirmation. No purchase grants a gameplay advantage: they only affect appearance (pieces, flags, boards, frames) or comfort (removing ad offers). Items already owned cannot be purchased a second time.

Refunds follow Apple’s policy exclusively (request via reportaproblem.apple.com or your iPhone Settings): Towndom does not process or guarantee refunds outside that channel. Consumables already spent (spent écus) are not refundable except at Apple’s discretion.

Fair play

Everything for sale is cosmetic; anything that gives a gameplay advantage (shares, information about events, a ranking head start) can only be obtained by playing. Any technical manipulation of the game (cheating, abusive multi-accounting, bots, exploiting a bug for advantage) is forbidden and may lead to the account being reset or suspended.

Advertising

Ads are always rewarded and optional, never interstitial, never forced before playing. They are served by Google AdMob in line with the consent given (see the privacy policy).

Availability and content

The game relies on real data and events (transport, weather, sport…) provided as an input to animate the simulation; Towndom does not guarantee the real-time accuracy of every source and may adjust its pricing rules. France is available from launch; Belgium and Germany are planned next and may change before release.

Termination

You may stop playing and uninstall the app at any time. In case of a serious breach of these terms (cheating, abusive behaviour), access to the game may be suspended or the account reset, without entitlement to a refund of purchases already consumed.

Changes

These terms may change; any update is published on this page along with its date. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new terms.
